About Oumou

Hello everyone! My name is Oumou and I am a medical student. I created this blog so that pre-meds, especially URMs, have someone they can relate to as they pursue medicine and for me to share my personal thoughts. Getting into medical school is tough and completing the journey is even tougher, so I wanted to create a space where I could give my thoughts and advice while also being vulnerable about the path. There needs to be more representation in medicine and I hope to use this platform to aid in that.
