About Moi

Hello everyone! My name is Oumou, and I am a Guinean-American 🇬🇳 first-gen medical student at the Boonshoft School of Medicine! I did my undergrad at OSU and got a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in French. Three things I enjoyed there were being a peer-led team leader for a gen chem course, volunteering for Project Downtown, and being president (among other roles) in my fave student org, Ladies of Leadership. In my free time, I love watching YouTube videos and reading. Currently, I am craving Mediterranean food so if you know some spots that are delicious and Zabiha-friendly in the Columbus and Dayton area, lemme know. I created this blog so that pre-meds (especially URMs) have someone they can relate to and ask questions. Please follow this blog for more if you are interested (click the button on the homepage) and hit me up if you ever wanna chat :D.
